"The french word hasard comes from the Arabic az-zahr, which means dice game. Six dancers looking for a choreographer, like the six sides of a dice. Confused, they perform a curious ritual. They appear and disappear diago- nally across the stage. The die is cast. The dance is played by chance.
Using six performers, it creates infinite and unpredictable combinations. Algorithms. It is fortuitous, but how to interpret it ? The dancers cross paths like an illusion of a crowd. They avoid an accident. Is the collision premedi- tated or predestined ? Stampede. Is the accident a dance ? Did I see what I thought I saw ? Dizziness. Confusion. Hallucination.
Dance is a game, a challenge, a paradox.
